Preferred Utilities Announces Upgrade to the Fuel System Controller, FSC-120

Preferred Utilities announces FSC-120-B, an upgrade to its FSC-120 Fuel System Controller. The FSC-120-B offers stronger performance, better connectivity, and improved safety.

The FSC-120-B, upgraded from the FSC-120 Fuel System Controller, is designed to monitor and control emergency generator fuel oil supply, pumping, and storage systems. It provides faster processing, quicker reporting, and has a larger memory capacity, enabling it to store more historical data.

The upgraded controller features:

· Stronger performance: Updated hardware and electronics including an ARM Cortex M4 processor, increasing speed from 8MHz to 120 MHz.

· Better Connectivity: Modbus Ethernet compatibility, with additional support for standard SD cards.

· Improved Safety: Certification to UL-61010 safety standards.

The FSC-120-B works seamlessly with the original FSC controllers and NodeNet system. No changes to blockware configurations or integrations are required. Customers do not have to upgrade their current system; this is simply a replacement, with improvements.

“We are pleased to offer the expanded and refreshed FSC-120-B built on modern hardware with a substantially faster processor,” said David Bohn, President and CEO of Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Corporation. “It maintains the exact same footprint as the original FSC-120 meaning you can simply drop it right into your existing system with disrupting current configurations or integrations.”

Facilities now have a Fuel System Controller option with better connectivity, more storage, and higher performance.
